Juice
I've been picking through my referrals to see what's bringing people here... I've been saddened to see my Google juice virtually disappear over the last month. I deserve it, I was quiet for awhile as summer kept away from the keyboard. Anyway... I seem to be getting all kinds of attention from MSN, which leads me to believe they've finally adjusted their search to take the silly blog fad a little more seriously... great move if this is the case.
You'll find me on MSN if you're searching for:

Mac, BackRow
I understand that the geniuses that use Macs tend to be the creative, emotional type geniuses (no sarcasm intended)... Nonetheless, I was very surprised to see the emotional and brutal exchanges taking place here about casey's latest project, /backRow... nothing more than a shot at writing a media app using WPF that is inspired by Bart Simpson Mac's FrontRow app. He made his intentions very clear in the beginning and throughout the article: to point out how easy such projects are to throw together using WPF. As a self-proclaimed non-designer type, casey used an existing app to model after, and did a good job. These people need to lighten up and quit playing off each other, maybe even read the article.
Rocco's translated comments below nicely reflect those of the Mac community...

When I read the news, I said myself that it was not right that Windows manages to have the interface of FrontRow, like that, without effort. And then when I saw the capture of screen, I do not have nevertheless badly laughs.
Hé, MacGé, when you make news like that, do not forget the comic side. Ca made me pity a little the trick of the guy. I will have honde to make such a minable copy. As much nothing to make...
The funny thing is, this is just the beginning... when we get beyond fiddling with the new stuff and start applying it, the new ideas are going to make FrontRow and Media Center look like child's play.
