Google Site Proxy - Scratch this off the to-do list!


Browsing on my Blackberry can be a pain... I've been meaning to write a mobile-friendly front end to present scraped content from my favorite sites & feeds... I realized that I would need to be able to identify the meat of the page (eliminating things like template graphics, headers/footers, & nav)...  My scraper works beautifully, but I stumbled on what it would take to be able to trim the fat off the page content.

Looks like Google has done just that (with site content, not feeds), and it seems to work pretty well, check it out:
